DJ Jazzy Jeff & Ayah- Xmas Time
Christmas always cheers your heart especially when there is some good holiday music to go along with it. Last year Jazzy Jeff and Ayah both infused what Christmas time meant to them in their song Xmas Time. Fortunately it’s that time of year again where giving and spending time with loved ones should be at the top of our holiday lists.
“Christmas is the one time of year where families and friends are usually able to gather in one place,” said Ayah, when asked about her inspiration for Xmas Time. “Being surrounded by loved ones gives me a warm and happy feeling and this song is the perfect backdrop for the celebration.”
The song’s smooth melodic feel really entangles you in the Holiday spirit we all yearn for. With a bit of jazz and chimes every so often, Jeff and Ayah delivered musical peace during a time when we need it most.
“I grew up listening to timeless Christmas songs from artists like Donny Hathaway and The Temptations. And I will never forget how those songs make me feel during this time of year. I wanted to create a similar vibe with Xmas Time,” said DJ Jazzy Jeff. “It is a soulful Christmas song.”

Brotha continue to make good music and inspire this next generation to continue to do the same. Hip Hop is still alive and well. It just took some things happening in order for Hip Hop to rebuild itself and continue. I am still currently a true fan of hip hop.
